Natalie Castillo whipped her head around.

"Where?"

Evelyn Ross's gaze snapped toward Liam Cooper.

Her voice was firm and decisive.

"He called Mia Truman. It seemed random, but there's one person who could have influenced his actions!"

Before the words had fully left her mouth, she was already striding toward Liam.

She fixed him with a sharp stare.

"The day you contacted Mia Truman, was Chloe Raymond with you?"

"Can't you keep up?"

He stepped forward and placed something in her other hand.

Another elegant, small pistol.

She looked up, stunned.

Sebastian had already turned and was running down the other branching path.

The man called back over his shoulder as he ran, his voice carried by the wind.

"Strict upbringing. Military-style. Miss Ross, be careful."

With that, he disappeared around the alley corner.

Evelyn: "..."

She looked at the guns in her left and right hands.

She quickly stowed them in her pockets and launched herself into another sprint!

She couldn't lose Chloe Raymond!

She was very likely the key to unlocking the Sterling Family's secrets!

After chasing down three more streets, she finally caught another glimpse of that panicked figure ahead!
